Pocket camcorders are great for taking short video clips to share with your friends, but is the video quality any good and are they worth the money?
For this report Consumer Choice is looking at pocket camcorders. The first and most obvious difference with these devices compared to regular camcorders is their size. They are designed to be much smaller so you can just pop them in your pocket.
They are also much easier to use then their larger counterparts. This is similar the difference between point and shoot cameras and more advanced models. You simply press a button and it starts recording.
They are also designed with video sharing websites, such as YouTube in mind, so the video more suitable to being watched on a computer rather than a TV.
